Letter to Alexander Purdie, publisher/printer of The Virginia Gazette from Charles Lynch.
In his letter to Alexander Purdie, Charles Lynch explains that his partner in the manufacture of saltpeter and gunpowder is Benjamin Clement who, is the first person that he knows of to have manufactured gunpowder in the colony and together they have brought the gunpowder to perfection.
