  Joseph Nitti and Wilma Volpo 1933 Marriage License On 20 July 1933 Joseph obtained a license for marriage between himself and Wilma Volpo. The license names Wilma Volpo but she signed, Anna Volpo. At this time, Joseph was a widower and Wilma was a widow. Later, in 1939, Joseph applied for and obtained a Social Security number. On that document, Joseph named his wife as Anna Campobosso (last letter uncertain). This Anna Campobosso is most likely the same Wilma (Anna) who Joseph obtained a license to marry in 1933. At this time, we do not know whether Anna's maiden name was Campobosso or Volpo; one of those names is probably her first married surname.
