    Notes say "To America from Scotland 1680,On Aug. 05,1731 St ephen paid 20shillings for a King George patent on 100 and 90 acres of l and on the North side of Nottawway River, in old Surry County,Virginia. Fro m Surry Co. he moved to Brunswick Co. then to Luninburg county. Katherine Ray o n Prodigy has him born 1865,but this says he came to USA in 1680 ??. Must mea n 1860's??
