    There is a marriage between one William Hatton and Elizabeth Dixon on 24 September 1818 in Estill County, Kentucky. I suspect that marriage to William Hatton could have been a second marriage for Elizabeth or the William Hatton referenced in the Hatton/Dixon marriage record could be a nephew of William John Hatton.

    Ephraim Hatton, born Abt 1774-1776 in PA (according to 1850 Census in Montgomery County, KY and 1860 Census in Powell County, KY - Died October 9, 1864 in Powell, KY according to a user entry on Geni.com).
    m. Susannah Howard 8 Mar 1803 in Winchester, Clark County, Kentucky - she was born in Virgina according to same 1850 census enumeration.
    Is mentioned in the Revolutionary War Pension file of Henry Howard (W 8948). Clearly identifies Susannah Howard as the daughter of Henry Howard and Isabella Griffin and gives the full birth dates of Susannah Howard and Ephraim Hatton. Also gives the marriage place and date of Susannah's parents and mentions another Hatton marriage on 26 Apr 1838 between Henry Hatton and Menervy Hatton. The birth dates of Ephraim, Susannah and the marriage of Henry and Menervy appear to be bible pages.

    "The deposition of Gordin Griffen [sic, Gordon Griffin] a resident of Bath County Kentucky
    taken to be read as evidence in favor of the Application of Mrs. Barbara Meadows for a pension.
    Deponent being eighty-five years old deposeth and saith that he was well acquainted with
    Israel Meadows Deceased and Barbara his wife before they were married and ever since. The
    aforesaid Israel Meadows & Barbara was married in the County of Greenbrier in the State of
    Virginia in the year 1775 or 6 he deponent was not at the wedding but was in the neighborhood
    when it took place and was informed of it at that time. He cannot speak positively of the date of "
