I do not know if this is the same man, but I have notes from a Noland researcher from years ago which state:
"Nancy Noland - b. maybe in Frederick Co. MD in the mid 1700's (would have been Montgomery Co. at that time). She m. a Joseph Fields who was in the Rev. War. They had two known children Sarah and Greenberry. After Nancy's & Joseph's early deaths, Abraham Fields, brother to Joseph & uncle to the children, brought them to Scott Co., KY." A Mrs. Lormen in Indiana was looking for information on Nancy's parents.
