Photos | Liberty Bell, signifying a person in an accepted NSSAR or NSDAR lineage. The Liberty Bell displayed here simply acts as a means to easily identify a patriot recognized by the NSDAR or NSSAR who was a participant in the fight for American Independence or a person of direct, recognized lineal descent from a patriot appearing in one or more accepted applications to NSDAR or NSSAR. The image is a "marker" visible in certain tree views and serves no other purpose or meaning. |

Histories | The marriage of Matthias Horn to Susanna Hall. It seems that the brothers, Matthias Horn and William Horn, both married women named Susanna or Susan. There are many online family trees that give "Hall" as the maiden name of William Horn's wife; this is probably incorrect. As shown in these excerpts from the pension file (W10110) of Matthias Horn and Susanna Hall-Horn, the wife of Matthias had a maiden name of "Hall". Though not impossible (think cousins) it is unlikely that both wives were named Susan Hall. |
