Documents say that William was a Turkey Merchant. I am unclear though whether "Turkey" was being referred to as a place, or the actual bird that we call Turkey.

Buried in Little St. Helen's Church at the north side towards the west end in a vault which he had made at his own charges, being free of the Mercer's Company.
